At least 40,000 dead in just part of just one province in Indonesia, Aceh. Waves as tall as 50 ft hit the shore, reports of water coming ten miles inland! nytimes.com The total death toll will be in the hundreds of thousands, I fear. Just from the tsunami. From disease and starvation, maybe millions? I hope not . . . .
