Excellent point Croc

Although I think some moderators don't want to enable some of the more extreme name calling and abuse, by giving it a forum on their thread. It is not a free speech issues, since anyone can start a thread, and abuse people who come to it. But there are many moderators who don't want to be a party to that- and I think it is a good thing to control the abuse on one's thread- though I understand not everyone agrees with that, or anything else :-)
