LOL...it's more like you get one vote in congress for every lobbying dollar you spend.

These guys don't even read the damn bills. They're written by special interests and lobbyists and then pushed in the "back door" by virtue of immense influence.

Yes...this is already the best democracy that money can buy. Your tax dollars wouldn't buy you a nose bleed seat in an adjacent venue much less a vote.

It would be nice if there was a party of "outsiders" and "grassroots" that catered to actual voters. And some candidates even fancy themselves as outsiders...even Bush. You need a very large imagination, or a propaganda polluted brain to believe that Bush is an outsider. Rove is a genius...I'll grant you that. He has polished the image of Bush into a cowboy. All that brush cutting at the ranch...it's a show. Huge theater!
