To Bert,

USA TODAY, a national newspaper, featured northern Nevada in a cover
story on the front page of its Business section as one of the hottest
areas for mining companies to explore. USA TODAY stated that recent
discoveries in northern Nevada are revolutionizing gold mining worldwide
and creating the fourth major gold boom in U.S. history.

Over the past 15 years the U.S. has gone from producing only negligible
amounts of gold to ranking second in world gold production. More
importantly, Nevada dominates the United States having produced over $18
billion worth of gold since 1990. Last year alone Nevada produced over
10% of the world's gold. Currently Nevada ranks as the third largest
gold producer in the world. California, the next most productive state,
produced only 1%. Clearly northern Nevada is the place to be.

Two key factors to note supporting the stability of Nevada's gold
production are (1) Nevada is the cheapest place in the world to mine
gold and (2) the most conservative estimates indicate that current
production levels can be sustained for at least 15 years. This does not
assume any new large discoveries in Nevada. As stated by USA TODAY,
"Nevada has become to gold what Saudi Arabia is to oil.

HARLEY.
