Yeah I think the best thing to do is to donate to the relief organization that you are comfortable with. Under such tragedy they hardly have any time to play politics and they tend to complement each other. If there is a water shortage one of them will step up while other is busy with logistics and yet another with housing and another with clean up etc etc. Misjudgements and mismanagements - yes but corruption under the current circuimstances - hardly. (IMO)

PS: Great to see people opening up their purses and wallets to help. Full disclosure - I have not made my donation yet but intend to.
