Logistical nightmare. Massive coordination effort needed. It sounds like the major airports are open. Military units will provide the local transportation needed. Search, rescue, water, food, medical and security will be the top priorities for military units. But it will take a bit to get them in place. For many reasons an assessment team must go in first. Just finding uncontaminated fuel for return flights will likely be difficult initially. The military units must be able to sustain themselves in order to assist others. It will all happen quickly but not immediately. The geographical area involved is just too gigantic.
