I did not say that you sanction extortion, I said your argument (logic of) can be equaly applied to an extortionist. I gave an example of a situation where you can see that your argument does not hold water.

He attempts to play Congres of a sovereign nation, or a gangster (your choice) and issues a chalenge to everyone in the world "don't thread on me". It is certainly laughable for a small-time stock swindler to pretend he's US Congress. << What's he going to do? Sit on them?>> Westy has his threats.

You are interested whether there are grounds for government intervention in this specific case. I, and many otheres, however are more interested in making it clear that a minor stock swindler Westy should not be taken seriously in his childish attempts to threaten everybody.
