About Veritec

Veritec Inc. is the pioneer and patent holder of two-dimensional (2D) matrix coding technology. The company is engaged in developing, marketing, and selling encoding (writing) and decoding (reading) software and system products that utilize its patented VeriCode® and VSCode® symbology. The Veritec codes allow end-users to produce and interpret secure coded data for identification, and verification purposes. The technology is applicable in nearly all environments that require security, tracking and identify people and live stock as well as products and services from design and manufacturing to shipping and delivery. Veritec developed VeriCode®, a 2D matrix symbology, during the late 80's, which was endorsed by NASA as the code of choice for their vendors. The VeriCode® Symbol is a small, checkerboard-like matrix and has the highest data density. In 2003 Veritec developed and patented a new two-dimensional code, the VSCode®. Veritec's engineers increased the data capacity within the code allowing over 4,000 Bytes of information. Because of its high data capacity, VSCode® can be used as a secure container as well as a portable database. This portable data storage is ideal for storing text data along with biometric information such as fingerprint, face, hand or skin. The data stored within the VSCode® can be instantly obtain yet securely stored with a biometric key
