The soil samplings were not cherry picked, they were on a fix grid, 30 cm below surface.

The 25 pits were dug randomly to cover an area 270m by 100m and were sampled vertically. These are no grab samples but channel samples. You cannot cheery pick them as you take them only after the hold is dug 2-4m deep.
