CMPD 10-K out, company is up front about their lack of progress so far, hopefully their partners will accomplish the acceleration of deployment of their Osteogram product, as it sounds tremendously promising in their releases announcing the partners. Also good to see that they lowered their loss for the year to 275K from 375K the previous year. They have a commitment for 5M to market their product, so there shouldn't be any concern about money anytime soon. Seems like they can reach profitability with the first significant use of their Osteogram system, since they only lost 275K and with the system already developed, a large portion of the additional revenues should drop to the bottom line once they get going.

from the 10-K:

MATERIAL TRENDS AND UNCERTAINITIES

We are disappointed by the rate of progress in commercializing the Digital Communications and Imaging in Medicine (DICOM) OsteoGram, and we expect that our distribution partners will accelerate their efforts to incorporate our product into their sales training schedules in early fiscal 2005. The Chinese market has been a disappointment in fiscal 2004, mainly due to delays in a government sponsored program to bring osteoporosis testing to rural areas. We experienced a slowing of sales for our older, film-based unit; however, we laid the groundwork for the introduction of our DICOM version of the OsteoGram(R) by expanding distribution to include Siemens AG, Orex's local partner.
