James, I'm glad the top of your list started with your Mom. But, if your Mom saw the post I referenced she would probably ask you why you did that and, once you gave her your explanation, she would probably scold you. Maybe even rap you on the knuckles!!!

A lot of the people on your list I have never heard of! But you seem to be missing my point. Why wouldn't you give the name, fax# and phone # for the reporter at WSJ for everyone to see, if you truly want balance in the debate? Only one side of the story helps the shorts! Why not allow others reading this thread to know who to contact and give their opinion too? I still believe your mother would have scolded you if she knew the whole story!

As far as Pierre's letter to Lutts, well how ridiculous!! Is Mr. Lutts a subscriber to SI? Does he post on SI? Why in the world would you expect Mr. Lutts to waste his time answering Pierre's letters if he knows Pierre's intent was disingenuous, to say the least. He was issuing a little challenge? Sounds like a gunfight or something! If Pierre wants to subscribe to the Cabot Market letter, then fine. Pay up, like the rest of his subscribers do. Then, just call Mr. Lutts up and say "I'm a subscriber and I have questions" and he will talk to you! It's just that easy!!! There were no bells and whistles for Pierre if he did it the proper way. Why would a newspaper want to do a story on a subscriber asking the letter writer questions? Doesn't sell much copy, does it!!!

Why the obsession with Cabot? If you don't like his advise, then follow Robert Prechter, Joe Granville or Elaine Garzarelli! Maybe their views more reflect your own. I mean, Cabot said to sell Carrington Labs. I like the story and think there's a future possiblity there too, so I chose to stay with it. Am I supposed to blame Mr. Lutts because I didn't take his advise or be mad if I did take his advise? This poor guy can't seem to win! Better yet, why doesn't the shorts start their own newsletter? Charge whatever the market will allow and tell your subscribers all the things you shorts think is wrong with this company! Wouldn't that make more sense? But will anyone buy it unless you YELL FRIGHTENING STORIES ABOUT EARNINGS, COMPETITION, ETHICS VIOLATIONS!!!

Now as far as "threatening those with opposing views with lawsuits", well, Count Gold got it right! I'm just turning the tables on those that have used that route every time someone turned around. I simply informed Pierre that I intended to inquire with an attorney as to whether there was a case to be made here on behalf of the long term investors of this stock. I may not buy green bananas but I do plan on this stock being a holding of mine for a long, long time! Yes, I will even control it from the grave!!!

I know you can't yell "fire" in a crowded theatre but can you scare people with outright lies? I mean, go back and read some post, James. Steve Andrew coming on and saying that he knew for a fact from an "insider" that Presstek was IN FACT going to lose the Agfa dispute. It not only turned out to be a lie, it may have caused people to sell when they saw that!!! Can he be held accountable for it? Is this his First Amendment right? If you read his post after that, trying to regain any credibility he thought he had before, you'd think he graduated from the James Carville School of Spin (SOS)! I mean, talk about rewording his words!!! Give me a break!!! Add to this Brian Cass, John Tooker, Pierre's "the Mafia Connection", Mr. Short, Staff, Ivan....the list goes on and on. Through it all, Tom E. wanted to talk about new patents being issued, with other companies at that, and no one wanted to listen. Neil would come on "quoting" his "sources", even giving their names, and no one wanted to listen. Everyone was scared of the bashers being right. Meanwhile the stock was going every which way but unchanged.

Then, Pierre's, while asking the longs and trying to defend this "piling on" by the shorts, quips "what have you been smoking", introduces the suggestion that Presstek is involved with the Mafia and later very non-chalantly admits that his "well informed sources were a little wrong". Is that like a little bit pregnant? He even made reference to "The Mob" again last week in one of his post!!!

I'm simply taking all this info to someone who has more experience in these type of situations than me. He'll probably tell me that I need an "expert" in this field and we'll start to look around. Will probably start with New York, I would think. He will also probably ask me to find out if many support my desire and then I'll come on the thread and start to ask for "interested parties" to come forward. I would think that's the way it will work.

Now, I don't mean to scare you. But I, and many others, have been scared by many on this thread. Maybe not by you. I don't think it was your intention to scare anyone. I believe your are on the up and up.

Sitting here watching TV today has been very sad!!! I'm watching the tradegy of the death of Princess Diana. What a terrible, terrible thing to happen! What makes it even more terrible is the fact that it may have happened over nothing more than greed!!! Photographers wanting to get a picture that may be worth a million dollars....and she died for it! How sad that some will do so many terrible things all because of money. Whatever it takes, no limits, no boundries, no one is off limits! No wonder investors are flocking to mutual funds. It's so cut throat out there any more. Someone has to step up to the plate here and say "enough". Am I the one? I'm going to try!!! And if there are others out there that want to join me, let me hear from you!!!

So, my dear James, relax! I have no desire to sue you! I do enjoy your intellectual challenge and your humor! Keep posting but don't use the "denial is a river in Africa" anymore, please! You've worn it out on previous post! Oh, and that "Anheusers Disease" statement, well, it's almost like mentioning graveyards to old people!!

It's opening day in the NFL! Miami and Detroit are both winning! Things are looking up! The grandchildren are at the mountain house and I stayed behind to catch up on some reading. Enjoy the holiday with the wife and kids! And stop barking about earnings! They're coming! They're coming! In time!!! In time!!! Trust me!!!

Relax!

Take care.
