Appears to be a legal rip off of shareholders Use the cheap money to buyback company shares thereby bidding up the stock value. Simultaneously insiders unload their own shares which will be barely noticeable. Day of reckoning comes - interest rates go up, blame the company failures/poor performance on interest rate hikes. Meanwhile continue to get rich. If you are lucky you might even be "fired" by the board with a golden parachute.
