The question I need to start asking Treasury Bulls is this: with what money are Americans going to buy Treasuries in a severe economic downturn?
Regards,
LP

That is a simple question

1) people that notice the downturn start buying treasuries
2) people rushing out of stocks buy treasuries
3) people rushing out of corporate bonds start buying treasuries
4) people rushing out of junk start buying treasuries

It is as simple as that IMO

The big bubble is NOT is treasuries, it is in junk bonds priced barely above treasuries.
That is NUTS.

There is tremendous pent-up demand for treasuries IMO.
Right here in the USA
