It's the rocker or riffler or sluice/screen or whatever that i'd like to know more of ... the dirt moving stuff is all over the country, and well known, the only part specific to placer is what separates the gold from the gravel .... and which needs to be fairly portable, probably, because it must be cheaper to move the separator on the claim than to be hauling material from longer and longer distances ... portable to an extent, at least, it would sit in place for some time on each set-up, maybe a full season?

Dredges can keep moving in their own little pond, as long as you've got the water table just right for that ..... and as long as you've got the water rights as well, i guess ... i forgot all about Boulder already, it was its chart that had the greatest appeal, and there is more to the story ... wow, look at ralfph's Tinka printing .60 ..... and, ho ho, csl ... oops, i must post this next to Howie
