Yep, and not just tax revenues have increased: economic growth has increased... tax compliance is up.

'Cause Washington is gutless and in-bed with the special interests who finance their campaigns, and like things just the way they are (excepting, of course, there is ALWAYS room for one more special interest tax preference to be carved out. :(
