Hi, Len, thanks for the bounty of vegetarian book titles. I order books from my public library online, which is just so easy to do. They send me an email when they've received them through our regional library service, which is usually within a week or two, no matter how new and hot the cookbook. Then I read them like novels. I just love learning about different food cultures, especially among Mediterranean cuisines, where vegetarian cooking is so much a part of the culture. I photocopy the recipes I want to try. I'm ordering your list as we speak, and will look forward to reading them!
As for Whole Foods, the stock has certainly come back with a vengeance. At my local store, there was a long backup of cars on the road waiting to get into the parking lot the day before Christmas Eve, which is worse than it's ever been before. They've had a police officer in the parking lot on heavy days for years, but this is the first year I've seen that there was actually a line of cars waiting on the roadway!
