There was an interesting movie recently that used the Canadian health care system as a backdrop- I can't say it was a very positive backdrop- it was called The Barbarian Invasions. If you see it, let me know what you think. I thought it was an excellent movie, but it sure made the Canadian health system look like crap. On the other hand, I've seen similar stories about the UK health system- and my son received absolutely outstanding and downright amazing care there- a level of care and service I'd never have imagined. So maybe it's just luck- where ever you happen to be?
