Xybernaut Announces Additional Software Solution Order from Top 25 Pharmaceutical Company

Successful Deployments Continue to Fuel Growth with Satisfied Customers
FAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 30, 2004--Xybernaut® Corporation (NASDAQ:XYBR - News) today announced an add-on services contract totaling more than $200,000 from a Top 25 pharmaceutical company for project management services related to an OPX2 enterprise software solution deployment.
Xybernaut began recording revenue from the order during the fourth quarter 2004.
"Add-on contracts are particularly important to Xybernaut growth as we move forward. This specific contract, which we expect to continue to expand, is just one example of many others and equates with a satisfied customer who has chosen to expand its ongoing business relationship with Xybernaut," stated Steven A. In September 2003 Xybernaut reported that another, unrelated Top 25 pharmaceutical company, entered into a similar services contract with the Company. Based on the success of that ongoing and expanding solution Xybernaut focused marketing resources on duplicating similar solutions for other companies within the pharmaceutical vertical sector.
Additional organizations currently contracting with Xybernaut for OPX2 solution services include Mack Trucks, Montana Department of Transportation, Novartis and others.
These organizations are using the Xybernaut OPX2 solution for product development, quality assurance, workflow, and FDA approval planning, remote data collection, knowledge management and others.
