Tsunami relief facts:
U.S. gov't - $35 million
Corporations - $73 million and counting
U.S. citizens - unknown

Total U.S. relief = more than $108 million. Then add to that the ships, carriers, helicopters and other non-monetary aid the U.S. is providing and that amount could easily double to $200 million.

It's ridiculous to call Americans stingy. We're the most generous nation on earth.

For the unbiased of you out there, don't jump on to the "hate Americans" bandwagon. We're going through a bad publicity phase right now, because of Bush, but the U.S. and its citizens are still a country and people to look up to and depend on when the going gets tough.
