Now, looking at the Ignore feature, it seems they've stripped it down. Oh well.

If they want to simplify it, then the default should be to ignore posts from, not posts to and from, seems to me. I see no rationale for current configuration.

Perhaps other people have different applications for the feature where it makes sense. It seems it works well enough for you. In my case it is useless that way. I only started using ignore a couple of months before it disappeared and came to really appreciate it on a very busy thread where there were only a few people posting substantive material. I used it to filter out the most prolific of the idle or repetitive chatterers. That was a great way to get the volume down to a manageable level. I really miss it.
