OK. John, Alighieri, and all you other jerks. Is this good enough for you? The U.S. just upped their pledge to $350 million. Before you complain about why it took so long, the reason why is that we have a little governmental process that says that Congress holds the purse strings. So they had to get together to put a package on the table. So not Bush's fault. cnn.com So let Americans have it now. What other faults can you find with us stingy Americans who only give $350 million compared to France's $140,000? BTW, the $350M that the U.S. is giving represents 44% of the entire amount given thus far.
