Difference is that in the U.S. if Christian extremist resort to violence, we put them in jail. In addition, we do prosecute people for incitement to violence. In Muslim Middle Eastern cultures, the hate speech is so widespread and so systemic, that it largely goes unnoticed. Now, the jihadis and their terrorist actions are being portrayed by the people in power and by their media as heros to worship. Even their textbooks that are taught to their children have hate speech towards Jews in them.

You simply can't compare the two. Middle East Muslim intolerance has reached epic proportions and has boiled over into violent, barbaric action. Here in the U.S. religious extremism turning into violence is very rare in comparison to the almost daily barbarism coming from the Middle East. And like I said, we put our violent extremists in jail and that's where all violent people should be.
