A failed buy signal would be a nice buy cross over under 20 and then a change of direction back to down and sell cross over well before the two stochastic lines get back to 80. The result is seen by little or no upward price movement, or a failed stochastic buy signal.

Is there any way to tell ahead of time if it is a failed buy sign? Is there a certain high the stock should reach after the cross over?
