Here are the first words out of your post 18,790:

you've ridiculed Bernie's 2005 predictions

Message 20904980

After stating facts how he missed the mark in 2004 with
his prediction, I noted how his 2005 forecast was for more
of the same Bearish bent. Hardly ridicule.

I then stated what you choose to ignore:

I was ridiculed all of 2002 and first quarter of 2003 on MITA - goes both ways.

Fact is, many posters on MITA in 2002 and first quarter of
2003 excluding myself were Bears ridiculing me. It is all in
the archives. If I was into ridicule, I would go seek them all
out on SI, IFLUB and elsewhere and give them the
same "discussion" as you call it - that they gave me.

What's bashing and what's discussion -- sometimes it seems you are pretty sensitive

In other words, give them the same royal discussion they gave
me on this thread.

As for your comment here-

the only thing we know about a forecast is that it is going to be wrong

Message 20904980

I simply disagree:

I have been spot on predicting numerous bottoms in July and
October 2002, March 2003 and most recently in August 2004 on
CNBC and Barrons Newspaper.

Am I being boastful?

No. Simply a fact - All in the MITA archives. On CNBC and Barrons Newspaper.

I called for DOW 9,000 when it was in the throes of the Bear below DOW 8,000 in the face of ridicule.

I called a Grand Supercycle Melt-Up in the eye of the storm in
2002 that would last into the middle to latter half of the
decade.

Fact is - all these predictions of mine that proved correct
hold little value to you.

Why?

Because you said so:

the only thing we know about a forecast is that it is going to be wrong

Do I want a pat on the back.

Hell no.

If I was into popularity contests and atta boys I would be all
over numerous other threads on SI, IFLUB, traders-talk,
raging bull and the numerous other investment threads to boot.

Maybe if you didn't come across with the "veiled message" in
front of the numerous tag on questions I wouldn't come across
to you as what you call "sensitive" below?

sometimes it seems you are pretty sensitive, JT.

You have done this many times on MITA in the past several years before you changed your name.

Maybe that is also the reason you choose to not answer my question posed to you:

akafoobar?

Do I know you?

Last, skeptics have been calling out the housing bubble for the last 4 or 5 years now?

Maybe when they stop talking about it will it finally come to fruition.
