For this year's contest, I have again handicapped myself by following the same "tactic" as last year and only included companies, which are in my R-L portfolio. (They are actually the only ones I have much of an opinion about, anyhow). Most of these shares were also present in last year's charity race, as I don't have too many to choose from. The only changes are that I have taken out SEPR and MLNM and replaced them with ALXN and TELK.

ALXN 793 25.20 $19,983.60
COR 7,380 2.71 $19,999.80
CTIC 2,457 8.14 $19,999.98
ICOS 177 28.28 $5,005.56
MEDX 928 10.78 $10,003.84
MOGN 357 28.01 $9,999.57
TELK 523 19.14 $10,010.22
TTP 1,552 3.22 $4,997.44

As far as my pledge is concerned, I will bend the rules somewhat. Due to the logistical problems I have experienced transferring funds to more or less obscure American charities (seen from a Swedish horizon), I will direct the countervalue of USD 100 in Swedish kronor (about 664 at current rate) to my own nominated charity, regardless of the results in the Contest.

This charity is the Swedish chapter of Medecins sans Frontieres (Läkare utan gränser). In the light of the current situation, I will however not wait one year for the payment obligation to come due. Instead, I will make the payment with immediate effect.

Erik
