No idea. What is needed is for the private sector to donate the things needed like tents, water to areas that aren't getting rainwater, medicines and trauma counselling teams.

Have you heard of any of Americas pharamceutical companies donating a billion dollars (retail value) to the stricken areas ? OF COURSE NOT. They see the drugs to the government (taxpayers) who take it out of our pockets instead.
