Hi all, I just posted the below message on the AMD thread. If you folks have any additions to the list, please let me know. I'm going to keep a running tally. I'm tired of people bashing the U.S., saying we're stingy. We should be bashing the Muslim countries who are really the stingy ones, considering most of the tsunami victims were Muslim.
-----------------
I did some quick research by searching Google for tsunami relief and the country name. Here's how much Muslim countries are donating to tsunami relief for their Muslim brothers:
* Saudi Arabia - $10M
* Egypt - $0
* Syria - $0
* Iran - $0
* Lebanon - $0
* Libya - $0
* Yemen - $0
* Pakistan $168K
* UAE - $2M
* Kuwait - $1M
* Singapore - $1.2M
TOTAL MUSLIM AID = $14.368M

I think Muslim countries are unbelievably stingy, especially considering that most of the victims were Muslim! Even the Catholic Relief Services group gave $25M, which almost doubles the amount of aid given by all the Muslims countries listed above combined!

If anyone has a correction to the above list, including the addition of any other Muslim countries, please post it along with a link to your source that proves their donated amount. I'll keep a running tally for the thread to see. Someone needs to hold Muslims accountable, even if they don't hold themselves accountable. Let's start complaining about the countries who are really causing the world's problems, instead of always bashing the U.S.
