It's not like Helengrad where she could do anything at all with almost total power. In the USA, Congress and the Senate have a say and the Supreme Court oversees proceedings. Plus there's impeachment. Not to mention assassination usatrivia.com It's true that in NZ, the Prime Minister has to have sufficient support within their own party, but they generally have wide latitude to determine what happens. Maybe change the constitution so the Terminator, King George II and Bill Clinton could vie for the presidency. That would be fun. Mqurice PS: Would Ken Starr be dragged out the bush to have a go at Hillary? Would Hillary have cigars and interns in the Oval Office?
