For you, there is only force -- who can kill more effectively. For me there is something more -- there is the battle for hearts and minds. You talk about how we missed chances to kill more effectively. I talk about how we missed chances to win the war for hearts and minds. In the long run, you either kill them all or accept the reality that hearts and minds win out. We get an 'A' for killing, and an 'F' for winning hearts and minds. The reason? Our foreign policy -- and that is what needs to change if we are to have any chance whatsoever of 'winning".
