For those interested in aid donations by country, I took the CNN donations (as linked before by mindmeld) and normalized to 2003 GDP. Normalized the results to the USA figure (i.e. USA = 1) and sorted the results. Many missing completely though. 4) Many countries (Africa, S America, Arab, etc) missing. Some but not all are poor (Africa in general). However, S. Africa at $432B GDP should have been on this list. Someone else can feel free to look at it normalized in other ways.
