What JLA just said is true. As Blix left Iraq was destroying missiles that had a longer range than was allowed. At that time Blix said that while they had no proof of WMD he suspected Iraq had them. He went on to say that even though he suspected they had them he didn't support the US going into Iraq. After the war started Blix wrote a book and as he was going around to various shows he said that even he was surprised that no stockpile of WMD had been found because he was sure (when he left Iraq) that they had them.
