Stolen works. But maybe you identify with the word "transferred" more easily. The rights to develop the oil will be transferred to American and British oil companies. They'll be able to do this because of the military action that has killed over 100,000 people. So the transfer came at the expense of people's lives. Maybe murder is a better word than stolen. We passed up many alternatives for a saner and a more effective policy in Iraq. We blew it! Orca
