I was thinking we needed to get Bin Laden too but my feeling was it was time to put the screws to the entire middle east. I guess I've given up on consensus over there. We've tried peace talks, negotiations and even handing out money and nothing has worked. By 9/11 someone in some country over there had gotten so bold as to bring their way of dealing with Israel to our shores. I was and still am pissed off about it. My logic was take Iraq (the center of hell) and use it for a base to make quick strikes. My thought at the time was if all they respected and understood was death and destruction then lets give them a first hand view each and every time they step out of line. I can't lie....I still feel that way to a degree. On the one hand I don't want to bomb cities but then on the other hand there is part of me asking myself if they would show such concern. My answer is always the same - no. So the part of me that wants this settled also wants immediate gratification with revenge when they step out of line. It may be the least attractive part of my personality but I admit it is part of me. I can be protective and patriotic to a fault and I realize this about myself but its really not my intent for the US to rule the world or its oil supplies. It's about sending a message to countries that would even entertain the idea of attack ing us that 9/11 was the first and last time anyone comes to my country and blows people up. I can honestly say that Bush has been more measured in his response in Iraq than I would have been

I'm not strutting around like a proud peacock....I'm just telling you how I really feel
