This is actually a good list of stocks to consider. However, I need to reply to this post from the Center for Corporate Policy----who ever they are..

The writer calls these firms "profiteers" as though they are renegade pirates.

These, or at least some of them, are direct defense stocks. Without them this country and a large part of the world would not exist.

Lockheed Martin has been with us since WWII and likely before. It was known as Martin Aircraft in WWII and did an admirable job of helping us defend the European allies and ourselves.

To think that some of the people associated with the Bush administration would not have connections with these firms is rather naive.

No one has yet devised a way to have a totally neutral government in the USA-----nor should they. The government in the USA, at all levels, is comprised of people who live and work here and are elected by the same-----this is a democratic society.

I for one am most thankful for firms such as Lockheed Martin who can make a profit in defending our country and the world.
