DECEMBER 04 TOTALS:

12 Winners
19 Losers

Average gain per trade: 6.9%
Average loss per trade: 2.4%

Total profit/loss ... Up $3570
Percentage profit/loss ... Up 1.8%

Analysis: Again, like last month, if your winners can double the gains of your losers, you have a successful buy and sell strategy. Even though there were more losers than winners, the month was still profitable.

Highest gainers:

BRLC up 22.8%
VISG up 19.2%
OPSW up 13.1%

Worst performers:

NGEN down 7.3%
GDP down 5.5%
IMGN down 3.4%

Analysis on losers:

Each of these trades were initially profitable. I need to tighten stops on plays that go positive, so as not to give up as much ground.

Suggested improvements:

I already adjusted the time of day that trades should be entered. This tactic alone kept me positive on the month. There were trades that would have triggered otherwise, and they went negative.

Observation on the current strategies:

Although it doesn't look like I had a good month, it was profitable. The only Professional site I know of that shows their failures in addition to their successes is Pristine.com and they were down 3.6% for the month. So, I feel good beating a professional web site.

Running totals:

Nov. 04 ... Profits ... up $10,550 ... Percentage ... up 5.2%
Dec. 04 ... Profits ... up $3,570 ... Percentage ... up 1.8%
