Obispos for avispas, lol .... i once knew a priest who would find that really funny, he had a little trouble with the chain of command between him and his deity .... swiss friends of ours down south have a little girl who at five or six said something in english about the sheeps making honey, she must have been told the bee-honey connection in spanish and heard abejas as ovejas

Interesting article from the Vet, there does seem to be a relaxing of investor fear of Venezuela .... i wonder about the next pages of the story of Chávez, how he will want history to remember him ... stability now that the referendum is over is fine, but you need more than that, you need a recognition that people are entitled to the fruits of their effort .... and that doesn't play well to aficionados of the Castro-rant style .... it's all well and good to stand up to Bush, and point out the evil in the old kleptocracy that ran the country, but the political opposite will produce a result just as bad or worse, economically .... you need some kind of common sense middle path that leads all venezolanos to a sense of responsibility for their own actions, maybe don Hugo can rise to this, let's hope so .... cheers

[edit] - to define 'frustration', just try explaining libertarian positions to nine out of ten latinos .... easy to get agreement that the person you're talking to shouldn't have to face any legal walls to his endeavours, of course he is a free man and should be able to do anything he wants ..... but then apply it to his neighbour, or worse, to that foreigner from a village ten miles distant, and no way José, that guy should be locked up and the key thrown away, if he tries anything at all, lol ...
