Wow!!! What a thoughtful answer. We're getting a little far afield here but let's continue:

(1) You're certainly right about the cultural thing. A once fiance of mine teaching at Mount Holyoke maintained that Jews weren't smarter at all, just more verbal because they fought and argued more at home. My guess is there's a lot to that.

(2) Jews also have a better sense of humor than gentiles which goes with the territory of being a minority using humor as a defense mechanism. Same with blacks. A quick humor makes people seem smarter than they actually are.

(3) As for the papparazzi, the only defense is to not go out to night clubs or if you do, let them take your picture. To run away at 100mph is reckless endangerment.
