First of all, Kumar, the US is already there in SE Asia. How much more visible do you want our relief effort to be? How many other countries but the US and Britain have aircraft carriers in the region, many many helicopters and other aircraft shuttling equipment and food/water to the people who need it? Maybe the US "promised and didn't deliver" under other Administrations, BUT the GWBush Administration does deliver what it says it will. >>>> US personal donations are significant and exceed expectations.. US govt donations have a bad track record in terms of "Promised vs delivered". what does that tell ?<<<
