Yes, we have always owned vehicles, but never any real "gas guzzlers" that I can remember... There was the 57' Olds station wagon we fixed up in 1971, but that had the small V8 put in it. <g> Most of our vehicles have gotten above average gas mileage in the past, and all of them in the past two years.
And we have always purchased energy saving light bulbs, being among the first to go to compact fluorescents, and then later, LED lights... and have had at least partial solar power since 1985... Could have done much more, but at least we tried to do our part to divorce America from its foreign oil addiction, which is much more than the average American can say.

The belief that "evil greedy ones" want us to be dependent on oil and have manipulated events to make that happen is a great example of primitive thinking. Sorry.

I will take that as a compliment considering the source. Thank you.
