She used eggs and vanilla and cinnamon and nutmeg. You separate 6 eggs mix yolks w/ 1 pound powdered sugar add 1 1/2 tsp vanilla and a tsp cinnamon and 2 jiggers of rum whip the egg whites until stiff fold together with yolk mixture put a shot (or two :-) of rum in a mug and add 3 tablespoons of egg mixture- then fill the cup with boiling hot water garnish with nutmeg Normally I don't eat raw eggs, or anything else raw- but since I really liked our neighbors I didn't want to offend them by refusing the first glass. After the first glass I didn't really care about the eggs anymore :-) I hoped (the next day) that the boiling water helps cook the eggs- but who knows?
