"about how the SEC came to dig this stuff up after so long" - As you well know, the SEC didn't "dig this stuff up after so long." The SEC was investigating this in 2000 which is the base reason why HRCT withdrew its NASDAQ application back then. Unfortunately, investigations and lawsuits take a long time. There are many SEC suits which are currently ongoing that relate to activities in 1999 and 2000. You would rather focus on the company business but this suit IS part of the company business. You have no control or real info on the other "company business" either.
