"Since no political party and or government can ever be completely trusted" there is a really good case for a multi-party system.
If two parties go really wild, there is always a third who is willing to make fun of them.
PS with 4 parties, it might become a two-party system (that is, almost exactly the way a one-party system would do the trocks, as two always can agree)
PPS With 5 parties, one cannot really trust those major 4 ones, although that fifth brings some hope..
However, although England, Canada is busy, and Australia, Wales, Scotland, both Irelands and even little Malta already did it, nobody expects any improvements of USA, the true old dilemma.
