But the key thing they want is the homosexual stigma removed. They want social acceptance.

Their standing has changed quite a bit in the last generation. I remember in school they were pariahs that were taunted and teased and often beat up. Older homosexuals generally kept their ways quiet.

It is good that they are now usually not physically abused, but their lifestyle will never be accepted as normal or socially acceptable by many in our country.

Our MSM has done their best to push this lifestyle as normal, but it will not easily overcome religous teachings in this matter(or social bias).

If they push too hard to legalize their lifestyle, a political backlash against them will occur.
