The subsequent earthquakes certainly were aftershocks. Mother Nature is a bitch. But she is somewhat predicatable, after the shock.

In the aftermath of a 9.0 seismic event, geological stress are relieved. This is not news, this is historically been proven to be true.

The large temblor of the Macquaice(sp.?) Islands are probably unrelated to the Aceh temblor, but what we've witnessed in the Andomans yesterday are almost certainly related to the Aceh temblor.

Don't paint my logic with too broad a brush. Paint it with historical accuracy. Thank you.
