Well, I have to admit that's a problem; I'd certainly like to see profitability in addition to the positive cash flow to which McNealy likes to point. I think those other companies were a lot more ruthless about cutting staff and other costs when the downturn came, and the benefits of doing so remain. HP had ink and toner to fall back on. And Sun had some real estate problems resulting from planning for continued expansion that didn't come. All JMHO. Charles Tutt (SM)
