And then what? Somebody was offereng inflated price for ALTR for a long while now. The trick is they have SIZE of bid/ask, which is 1000 shares on SOES. If you come with a 1,000,000 to sell, they will drop the price, before they buy a share.
It is very naive to think that specialists, market makers, and Cos, themselves don't try to support their stocks. After all, it is a part of their official job description.
