Hello brian, You are changing the subject. But that is OK too.

<<I remembered many Hong Kongese flied out Hong Kong to various countries to avoid China communists>>

You are behind the times, they fly. Yes, definitely, the not-so-astute, and too-clever-by-half HKers fled, to socialism. Many have returned, only to be priced out of the home market, and many more want to return. Bummer.

Such as it may, recently I am running into an unusual number of ex-HKers giving up their US citizenship. I do not offer explanations. HK seems, by the looks of matter and anti-matter, just fine. There is apparently nothing wrong with being the most economically free, financially dynamic, politically stable, and fun place on earth.

And, guess what, there sure are a lot of Canadian paperholders running around in HK mingling with a bunch of Kiwi paperholders. Folks voting with their feet and wallet, I guess.

I also happen to know a bunch of Trinidadians holding Canadian papers. I do not believe they are fleeing from the Trinidadian communists. I again have no explanations, other than an observation, vacuum tends to get filled, and water levels tend to even out. Molecules tends to motion. Basic physics and simple chemistry.

<<OK>> ... When did I ever say anything about "it is OK ... or not OK", except when I said once upon a time, "It is OK to be child-like, but not childish". I am guessing you did not catch that.

As to <<I preferred to have Taiwan independence >>, that is also OK. There just happens to be maybe 1.odd billion that prefers otherwise, that is my guess and just a guess, and so perhaps we can leave that matter to be resolved by the gentle passage of time, say perhaps 2020.

Chugs, Jay
