<""'You would never admit preference for the Japanese (or would you?)"""

I live in modern times. I am sure I do not want to be a Japanese myself. My mom generation (those who lived under Japanese ruled Taiwan) did not feel any threat from then ruling Japanese.

From what I've seen, I have a preference for Japanese. CCP and the megalomaniac cloners such as Yiwu the Mad are scary.

Our son, Tarken, is half Japanese. I was happy to encourage that development.

A year or so ago, he was standing on the road outside his house in Rangataua in New Zealand, [a one horse town, population about 100 in summer], talking moshi-moshi to some Japanese on his cellphone, and he was bowing as he talked on the phone. He laughed when he realized what he was doing.

He seems quite happy to be part Japanese, as you can see: blog.livedoor.jp You might like being Japanese too brian h. Would you rather be Yiwu the Mad's slave?

Maybe Taiwan could ask the Japanese to quickly take over again, before Hu Jintao's Year of the Feather Duster manoeuvres begin. Or even apply to be 51st state of the USA. Or maybe a Far East member of the European Union. Or offer to be the first state of a reconstituted New United Nations [NUN] and offer a big area as sovereign NUN territory.
