I review Barrons each Saturday, and usually they will give you the highlights or run-ups that will probably occur that Monday. However, my brother-in-law took the advise and bought some Boston Chicken on their advise, (covered call), and that sucker dropped like a lead balloon, in a week. Sooo we all make mistakes, even the so called experts. However, between Barrons, Daytrader, and the Waaco Kid, I have found alot of recomendations that have panned out.
As far as OVIS goes, beware! The Waaco Kid sent out an advisory, stating the OVIS "cartel", is playing games with the stock and should be advoided. I deleted the message earlier and I can`t seem to locate it, to give you more detail on it. Thought I would pass on the warning to you.
