Not really Paul. Each brokerage is responsible for their own policies. If DATEK is going to say that my situation occurs sometimes because of what Comstock(the feed they use) dictates, then that is up to them. I was irate since I ended up on the losing end, but since I have seen this situation occur several times, I realize, that the situation lies with DATEK and not with Comstock. There are firms who will allow you to short penny stocks, but usually you need some serious green for the privledge. Each short list is different depending on which house you are with. DUG
